A pedestrian river crossing — post-tensioned deck, single pier, forty-metre clear span.

A single pier was the brief's hardest constraint: the riverbed geology allowed one foundation, not two. The deck is post-tensioned and asymmetric, counterweighted on the shorter approach so the whole crossing balances on that one point without a visible truss.
